Everybody has heard of Adriana Lima, probably even moreso than her husband, Marko Jaric.
Time Together
Lima and Jaric got married on Valentines day in 2009, in a private ceremony in Jackson, Wyoming. The pair then went on to have their first child, Valentina, on in November of the same year. Valentina was born just 34 weeks into the pregnancy because Adriana suffered from preeclampsia. Valentina was born at just 4.4 lbs but was healthy. Adriana Lima is a devout catholic, who attends church every weekend. Back in 2006, when Lima was 25 she told GQ magazine that she was a virgin.
Career
Adriana Lima is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. She first modeled for the company in 1999 and has become one of the most popular Victoria Secret models in the history of the company. In 2007 Lima was ranked 7th in FHM’s 100 sexiest women list, was dubbed the “hottest girl on the planet” at the Spike TV Guys’ Choice Awards and voted into #53 on Maxim’s hot 100 list. In 2007 she also ranked #4 on FHM’s “Sexiest Women in the World” list. In 2008 Lima ranked #1 on Models.com for the sexiest models in the world list.
Charity Work
Lima is well known for her charity work around the world. She often volunteers with an orphanage called Caminhos da Luz in Salvador, where she helps with construction and buying clothes for the children. One of the main photographers for Victoria Secret was quoted as saying that Adriana Lima will do any charity work that is asked of her.
